Nan Guixin, Tai Xiao, Zhou Yuji..... They also came and went far one by one, but the Malen grassland has always been the fertile soil they love. Through a primeval forest, you can ride horses, you can hike, and you can reach a grassland higher than Hulunbuir, but you can't reach the vastness of the grassland after all.

Malun grassland was formed in the Cenozoic Quaternary glacial period 750,000 years ago, and the glacier river landscape is still retained in the northwest corner, and the vast meadow is one of the "three major alpine meadows in Shanxi Province" with the same name as the subalpine meadow grassland of Wutai Mountain and the Shunwangping subalpine meadow of Lishan Nature Reserve.
Huangcaoliang is formed with the same period of Luya Mountain, is a single-sided small flat terrain of Malun anticline, echoes with Lotus Leaf Ping, the average altitude is more than 2600 meters, the average annual temperature is 2-3 °C, the annual precipitation is 500-600 mm, it is a plateau temperate semi-humid climate, it is a typical subalpine meadow area, with a total area of about 9996 acres.
The main characteristics of this area are: under the conditions of alpine temperate semi-humid climate, the subalpine meadow soil undergoes wet grass felt humus accumulation and freeze-thaw redox process to develop into grass felt layer, humus layer and dark gray field layer, because the shrub turf layer is basically developed in this range, but the tightness is reduced, the elasticity is small, it is a valley edge slope, and the field quality is composed of granite, sand slate residues and ice deposits. In addition, due to the large temperature difference, the winter temperature is about -38 °C, and the area forms an obvious wind and freeze bulb landform.
Walking on the vast grassland, you will feel that the meadow is not flat, and there are bulging feet of bags everywhere, from an ecological point of view, this package is called frost heave mound, which is caused by the groundwater being suppressed by the frozen ground and the lower permafrost layer, freezing and expanding in the weak area, and the surface is deformed and uplifted. The villagers gave these bags a nice name - Golden Turtle Camel Treasure. Its forage has great nutritional value, known as "grazing for half a month, increasing fat, lean animals can be fattened, sick animals can be treated" reputation, stepping on it is soft. If you come, it is best to step on this soft "golden turtle carrying treasure" in July and August, even if you want to walk the wooden stack path, which will bring you a different feeling and a different kind of good luck.
The main vegetation of the grassland is cold-tolerant and moisture-loving lotus family, Asteraceae, leguminous family such as early maturing grass, duck tongue grass, dandelion, mud cabbage, pineapple sorrel and other herbaceous plants. The main animals and mammals are Tibetan pikas, Chinese squirrels, brown rats, etc., forming a unique natural ecological biosphere.

In order to ensure the safety of Jinyang, in the first year of Wuding of the Eastern Wei Dynasty (543), Gao Huan built the Great Wall in the area of Maling (now Lan County) in the west and Shangcheng (i.e., Ningwu Pandaoliang) in the east.
