2. Chongqing Ho Chi Minh greets each other
Ho Chi Minh City Vice Mayor Vu Van Huan met with Zhang Guozhi, Vice Mayor of Chongqing, China, and his entourage on October 13 and exchanged views on the direction of promoting cooperation between the two regions in the future.

On the evening of October 12, the Embassy of Vietnam in Belgium and the Permanent Mission of Vietnam to the European Union held the launch ceremony of the Dutch version of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's book "On Socialism and Several Theoretical and Practical Issues on Vietnam's Road to Socialism" in Brussels.
David Prestieau, director of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the Belgian Workers' Party, stressed that socialism is the correct path of the Vietnamese revolution, and it is in line with the historical development trend, driving the country's development and helping the people get rid of poverty.

In an interview with the Vietnam News Agency, the Lao ambassador to Belgium, Kingphokeo Phommahaxay, expressed the hope that Nguyen Phu Trong's book would be translated into Lao as soon as possible and published in the country, so that the Lao people could have a deeper understanding of the long-standing and close relationship between the two ethnic groups.
