From September 6th to September 9th, the themed activity of "Remembering the Red History, Following the Footsteps of Martyrs, Talking about the Friendship of Two Martial Forces, and Promoting the Development of the Two Places" and the collection of cultural relics related to General Yao Zhe were carried out in Wuchuan County, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Because General Yao Zhe forged a bond and took the red culture as the link, Shuangqing District of Shaoyang City and Wuchuan County of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region "paired" to build a bridge of cultural and tourism linkage and draw a new picture of national unity and progress.

At the promotion meeting, Shuangqing District and Wuchuan County respectively introduced the cultural tourism resources of the two places and the research route of forging the awareness of the Chinese national community in the new era, and played a cultural tourism promotional video. Based on the local cultural tourism resource endowment and industrial development foundation, the two places match their respective advantages and needs and seek opportunities for cooperation.

At the meeting, the two sides signed the "Shuangqing District-Wuchuan County Tourism Industry Strategic Cooperation Agreement" and the "Cross-regional Cooperation Agreement on the Party's Ethnic Work in the New Era". During the inspection and study, Shuangqing and his entourage successively went to the former site and exhibition hall of the Daqingshan Anti-Japanese Base Headquarters, the "8 Advances + N" Demonstration Point for National Unity and Progress, and other places for field research, extensively collected relevant historical materials and cultural relics of General Yao Zhe, and conscientiously studied the work experience of cultural relics protection and the establishment of "8 advances + N" demonstration sites for national unity and progress. It is understood that in 2023, the repair project of the former residence of Yao Zhe, a provincial cultural relics protection unit in Shuangqing District, has been launched, and the Yao Zhe Military Relics Exhibition Hall is being designed and set up. This inspection and study is conducive to further restoring the life story of General Yao Zhe, enriching the exhibition and display content of the former residence, and better continuing the spirit of General Yao Zhe.
