Obviously, "a series of measures" has been translated as "a series of measures", and we are all used to it. However, the plural word "measures" already includes the meaning of "series", so it is possible to delete "a series of", i.e.:

This reminds us that:
When translating from Chinese to English and/or writing directly in English, try to avoid "Chinese English" caused by "Chinese thinking".
In Chinese, we tend to pursue the rhetoric of expression, and when translating from Chinese to English, we inevitably fall into this kind of flashy expression, which should be avoided in English.
