The Spring Festival holiday in 2024 is approaching, in order to meet the festival cultural needs of the audience, Zaozhuang Museum will be open normally during the Spring Festival from February 10, 2024 (the first day of the Lunar New Year) to February 17, 2024 (the eighth day of the Lunar New Year).

There are permanent exhibition halls on the second, third and fourth floors of Zaozhuang Museum
From the archaeological discovery of the ancient Beixin culture in the Huanghuai area, to the bronze civilization of the princes in the pre-Qin period, from the Han portrait stone engraved on the stone of "embroidered history" to the Zhongchen Hao porcelain kiln of the northern folk kiln, from the pride of modern national industry - the glory of Zhongxing Coal Mining Company to the gorgeous transformation of modern Zaozhuang, the general history exhibition tells the development and evolution process of Zaozhuang history from the Neolithic Age to the Ming and Qing dynasties in an all-round and multi-angle way through the display of cultural relics, and shows the long history and cultural landscape of Zaozhuang for more than 7,000 years.
History in the Mirror - Bronze Mirror Exhibition from the Collection of Zaozhuang Museum

Bronze mirrors have a long history in the mainland, starting from the late Neolithic Qi culture and continuing until the Ming and Qing dynasties. The ancient bronze mirror can not only be used for makeup and appearance, but also reflects the profound traditional cultural heritage of China and the superb casting skills of the ancients. The exhibition selects 99 fine bronze mirrors from the museum's collection, which are divided into four units: "Between the Square and Circle", "Patterns in the Mirror", "Colorful Coloring" and "Mirror Chinese Characters", showing the audience the Chinese wisdom and spirit contained in the shape, decoration and production of copper mirrors in multiple dimensions.

New Year painting is an auspicious folk decorative art in ancient China, which originated from the concept of nature worship and belief in gods in ancient times, is a unique painting genre in China, and is also an art form that Chinese rural people like to see, with a history of more than 1,000 years. This exhibition exhibits a wealth of New Year paintings, including all kinds of martial arts gods, stove masters, gods of wealth, Guanyin, eight immortals, birthday stars, opera characters, farming, weaving and farming, folklore, historical stories, flowers and animals, ladies, dolls, scenery and so on. The dragon is a symbol of the Chinese nation and a symbol of Chinese culture.
