With the theme of "Don't forget the original intention, be grateful and move forward, call of duty, and take responsibility", the conference coordinated economic development and ecological protection, explored the practical path to promote the high-quality development of the grassland industry, strengthened the protection and restoration of grasslands, strengthened the management of degraded grasslands, accelerated the promotion of the "Pilot Program for Solving the Problem of Overgrazing in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region", rationally developed and utilized grassland resources, solved the problem of overgrazing in grasslands, and took into account the ecological and production functions of grasslands, and solved the problems of increasing the income of herdsmen and increasing the efficiency of animal husbandry.

As one of the main battlefields of the Hunshandak Sandy Annihilation War, Zhenglanqi is an important part of building an important ecological security barrier in the north of the mainland, and is also an important green agricultural and livestock product production base in the north of the mainland. The development of the grass industry can not only effectively control desertification and improve land coverage, but also promote the development of local animal husbandry and achieve a win-win situation of ecology, production and life.

As a key infrastructure for the development of the grass industry, the forage reserve provides a stable supply of forage for animal husbandry in normal times, and plays a key role in ensuring the safety of livestock and poultry and maintaining ecological balance in the event of natural disasters. The Xiwuqi People's Government attaches great importance to and vigorously invests in the construction of forage reserves, demonstrating its firm determination and foresight in fighting disasters and preserving storage. We have reason to believe that under the guidance of the government, the forage reserve will become a solid foundation for the high-quality development of the grass industry and make greater contributions to regional ecological protection and sustainable development.

On the issue of overgrazing in grasslands, Wang Jian said that the autonomous region has adopted a working strategy of "pilot projects and gradual implementation". On the basis of fully considering the characteristics of various grasslands, representative banners (counties and cities) were selected for pilot projects to explore effective ways to solve the problem of overgrazing in grasslands, and at the same time promote the development of grassland animal husbandry, so as to accumulate experience and prepare for practical activities in the whole region, and hope that all banners (counties and cities) can actively participate.
