author:Jewellery watches of the day

Pure elegance, subtle tones and soft glow: H. Moser & Cie. reinterprets natural jade dials. The Streamliner Tourbillon Wyoming Jade in 5N red gold celebrates the beauty of gemstones in a unique way, becoming the embodiment of sophistication, understated modernity and timeless elegance. The dial is stripped of the brand's logo, revealing only a one-minute flying tourbillon at 6 o'clock, revealing the brilliance of jade. This new limited edition of 100 pieces combines natural materials and watchmaking craftsmanship into a canvas of art, making it an extraordinary timepiece that transcends time.

The Speedster Tourbillon Wyoming Jade Limited Edition

The Speedster Tourbillon Wyoming Jade Limited Edition is made of 100% natural stone sourced from the ground in Wyoming, USA. Untreated, retaining its authentic properties and presenting a pristine and natural texture, each dial is a one-of-a-kind work of art, with subtle natural textures and unique hues, and the exceptional quality of the jade is evident in its almost pure homogeneous composition.

The Speedster Tourbillon Wyoming Jade Limited Edition

The dial of the Speeder Tourbillon Wyoming Jade Limited Edition combines traditional craftsmanship with modern technology. It all starts with the careful selection of raw materials, each of which has its own character and beauty. Once the material has been selected, the jade is precisely cut in a liquid environment using CNC technology, resulting in a thin slice of jade that is only 1.0 to 1.2 mm thick. The jade flakes are then soaked in water and the best position is determined under the light to cut the dial. The cut dial is carefully bonded to the metal dial, CNC milled to achieve the perfect shape, and then finished to the desired thickness. This process requires extreme precision to maintain the uniform structure of the jade. Finally, it is hand-polished to carefully remove chips or scratches while accentuating the jade's natural luster.

At this stage, the dial maker takes over the work of the jade artisan, first applying a layer of varnish to the back of the dial and then fixing the jade dial to the brass dial base plate to prevent the transparency of the jade dial from revealing the brass base plate and to preserve the jade's full beauty.

H. Moser & Cie. Wyoming jade has an extremely rare intensity of colour, with an intense olive hue that adds depth to the watch. There is no branding on the dial, and only a one-minute flying tourbillon is displayed at 6 o'clock, highlighting the beauty of the gemstone. Powered by the self-winding in-house HMC 804 calibre, the Tourbillon Wyoming Wyoming Jade Limited Edition features a double hairspring designed and manufactured in-house by sister company Precision Engineering AG. This paired double hairspring allows each hairspring to correct the gravity point displacement when extended, while reducing the effects of friction, greatly improving the accuracy and stability of the time in the constant pursuit of perfection.

The 100-piece Speeder Tourbillon Wyoming Jade Limited Edition is the perfect blend of natural materials and watchmaking know-how, and you can see its allure on the dial to appreciate the "Very Rare" quality of H. Moser & Cie.
