The "Chinese Breakfast Nutrition and Health Model" proposes:

Breakfast should contain 25 to 30 percent of the total amount of food throughout the day, and should provide the same amount of energy as lunch and dinner.

To ensure the diversity of breakfast foods (at least four categories), we should choose foods that are quick, convenient, and nutritious. This includes the following foods: a cereal staple, a dairy or egg, a vegetable, and a fruit. Along with food choices, special attention needs to be paid to foods that are rich in high-quality nutrients such as high-quality proteins, unsaturated fatty acids, and phospholipids. We should also choose foods that are rich in nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, dietary fiber, and plant compounds. By choosing foods rich in probiotics, we can achieve a balanced, adequate and comprehensive range of nutrients.

Choose nutritious foods and reduce your intake of fried, pickled, and pastries that are high in oil, salt, and sugar.

In the next three years, the fund will be open to scientific research and health education institutions, universities, and popular science groups engaged in the field of nutrition and health.
