People are not afraid of material scarcity but worry about injustice, people are not afraid of poverty and worry about insecurity.
Recently, when I read a book, I saw two sentences, which were said by Confucius in the Analects: "People do not suffer from widowhood but suffer from inequality, and people do not suffer from poverty but suffer from anxiety."
Confucius more than 2,000 years ago was very powerful, in fact, this is also to see human nature, human nature has not changed for thousands of years.
There are also different interpretations of this sentence, and I personally think that the original meaning of Confucius when he said this sentence is: people are not worried about the lack of material materials and worry about unfairness. People have different understandings of the word Jun, some people think it is average, some people think it is balanced, and I think it is fair.
Average, it should not be in line with Confucius's original intention. On average, some people understand that the big pot of rice is the same, doing more and doing less, doing good and bad, and doing and not doing the same. That's definitely not efficient, and it won't do anything.
Even, is fair, when it comes to fairness, not everyone has a share, everyone is the same.
Fairness is not fairness in results, but fairness in opportunity.
Why do people think it's fair to be an Olympic champion? Because everybody can go to the Olympics and go through a selection process to get into the Olympics. If you don't choose, you won't think it's unfair, because you have given a chance, you can't be selected, and you don't think you're strong enough.
Why do some people think it's unfair, because they are excluded when they set conditions and don't give them a chance to participate at all, then people think it's unfair.
