1. Met Nurhachi by chance, the growth path of a young hero
In 1574 A.D., the Jiamuhu village of the Jurchen Hada Department.
This village is not large, and it is inhabited by ordinary people. They are industrious and simple, and lead a plain life. This year, a young man came to the village, his name was Yidu.
Although he is only 13 years old, he has already experienced vicissitudes, his parents were killed by the enemy, and he almost died. Fortunately, he finally hid in the house of his uncle Mutonga. For a teenager who has just entered puberty, this is undoubtedly a huge pain. He has a deep hatred in his heart, and he also hides the longing for his loved ones.
On this day, another uninvited guest came to the stockade. The man, Nurhachi, swaggered into his uncle's house, saying that he was passing through and wanted to stay for the night.
When Eyidu first saw Nurhachi, he felt that this person was different. He was tall, his eyes were bright, and he spoke with a unique temperament. The two quickly chatted, and they chatted all night.
Nurhachi spoke of his ideals and ambitions to unify the Jurchen tribes and build a powerful state. His firm tone and strong sense of purpose deeply touched Er Yidu. Early the next morning, Eyidu resolutely followed Nurhachi out of Jiamuhu Village and began the growth of his legendary life.
2. Heroic killing of the enemy, the surprise attack tactics of the young god of war
1587 A.D., outside the city of Barda.
This is the 14th year that Eyidu has followed Nurhachi. In the past 14 years, Nurhachi united the Jurchen tribes of Jianzhou, and his strength gradually grew. This time, they were emboldened and attacked the alien-controlled city of Barda.
The city of Barda is located on a hill with a difficult terrain. The defenders of the city were well-equipped and well-defended. This is undoubtedly a huge challenge for Nurhachi's troops.
"Someone, quickly inform the commander to go and inspect the city's defenses!" Nurhachi said loudly, standing at the foot of the mountain, his eyes shining.
Soon, Yi Yidu led more than 100 cavalry to the foot of the mountain. "Haha, interesting! These forts on the city wall look very well defended, and it is not easy to take this city. The corners of his mouth rose slightly, and his eyes burned.
"Eyidu, you kid, what do you have to worry about! This city is easy to defend and difficult to attack, where do we start?" Nurhachi walked over solemnly and grabbed Eyidu's shoulder.
"Report to the Khan King, his subordinates have already thought of a countermeasure!" said a few words in Nurhachi's ear in a mysterious smile.
"Okay! bold planning, that's exactly what I like! You do it early tomorrow morning!" Nurhachi laughed and patted Yidu on the shoulder.
Early the next morning, he led more than 100 cavalry and quickly circled to the back of the mountain. The hill was steep and the defenders had no defenses. Eyidu asked his warriors to quickly climb up to the top of the city with ropes, and then open the city gate and lower the drawbridge.
The enemy troops defending the city were still asleep, and their defenses were lax. By the time he reacted, Nurhachi's main army had already entered the city. In an instant, the city of Barda fell into the hands of the Houjin army!
3. Break the coalition army, a brave and warlike iron-blooded god of war
1593 A.D., on the mountainside of Mount Gul.
At this time, it has been 20 years since Eyidu defected to Nurhachi. In the past 20 years, under the leadership of Eyidu and Nurhachi's other fierce generals, the power of the Houjin (Jurchens) has expanded rapidly. Many Jurchen tribes submitted to Nurhachi, calling him King Khan.
However, there are still some Jurchen tribes who do not submit to Nurhachi's rule. In this year, the nine major tribes led by Yehebe formed an alliance and joined forces to attack Nurhachi.
"No, the enemy has reached the foot of Gule Mountain, and is still laughing at our army for not daring to fight. "A herald ran into the tent panting, and reported to Nurhachi about the enemy.
"Incompetent rabble, look at what I teach them!" said the men on the side.
"Okay!Eyidu, you immediately lead the hundred horsemen to meet the battle, and I will soon lead the army to arrive!" Nurhachi's eyes burned and he laughed.
"Yes, I will break their strength for the Khan!" Eyidu was also excited, and strode out of the tent.
At the foot of Gule Mountain, the enemy army numbered about 20,000 people, and they were laughing at Nurhachi for not daring to fight. Suddenly, I saw a general with more than 100 cavalry killed in front of the mountain, shouting loudly:
"Shameless rabble, also worthy of fighting my Great Khan?quickly lay down your weapons and surrender, and spare your dogs' lives!"
"Ignorant flies and soldiers and ants dare to bark and be arrogant here! Capture them quickly!" The enemy was shocked and immediately mobilized his troops to come and capture them alive.
I saw that the Jurchen general rushed left and right, killing him back and forth. The purple war horse he was riding on was like an arrow from a string, leaping more than ten feet away. The scimitar danced and was invincible, and one man actually fought to the death, killing nine enemy generals! The rest of the enemy army was so shocked that no one dared to advance. At this time, Nurhachi finally arrived with a large army and annihilated the enemy army.
This general is Eyidu, and he made great contributions to the victory of Houjin with his heroic performance!
Fourth, the marriage of the royal family, the highest courtesy
1616 A.D., the city of Hetuala.
Time flies, and another 20 years have passed in an instant. These 20 years can be said to be 20 years of hard fighting, during which the Later Jin (Jurchen) basically unified the northeast region. In 1616, Nurhachi was proclaimed Khan in Hetuala, and the state was officially established, and the country was named Houjin. He appointed five ministers as confidants to discuss major state affairs, the first of which was Yidu.
As a confidant minister, Eyidu's relationship with Nurhachi can be said to be inseparable. In order to completely stabilize this relationship, Nurhachi successively married his two daughters to Eyidu. In 1621, after Huang Taiji ascended the throne, he married the daughter of Eyidu.
Such an intricate in-law relationship fully reflects Nurhachi's great importance and trust in Eyidu as a monarch. Talking about war in horses, sleeping with golden pillows, the two can be described as close as brothers. This also established the highest status of the forehead in Houjin, and he was treated with great courtesy throughout his life.
Fifth, the legendary life of the first hero
1621, Royal Palace of Hetuala.
This year, the first hero who accompanied Nurhachi in the 40-year campaign was Yidu, who passed away due to illness at the age of 65.
"I have lost my right-hand arm, and there is no one to replace me......," Nurhachi cried bitterly, and the Khan King had never been so sad without wisdom.
At the memorial ceremony, Nurhachi personally offered incense and planted flags for Eyidu, and personally raised Eyidu's young children to repay his kindness.
The legendary hero who has a magnificent life has retired in this way. But his exploits and contributions to Houjin will be remembered through the ages......

Nurhachi and Eyidu are actually a microcosm of the historical process of the Jurchen nation.
This people has always been scattered and nomadic, and each tribe has its own faction. It was not until the advent of Nurhachi that they were gradually united under the same banner. And Yidu has become the most important helper and witness in this process of reunification.
