Tao Yuhe (Xi'an)
The former residence of Song Qingling in Shanghai, located at No. 1843 Huaihai Middle Road, Xuhui District, Shanghai, was built in the early 20s of the last century.
Soong Ching Ling was born on January 27, 1893 in Shanghai to a family of pastors and industrialists.
Soong Ching-ling began her 70-year revolutionary career as Sun Yat-sen's assistant in Tokyo, where the exiled revolutionaries were concentrated.
On October 25, 1915, despite the opposition of his parents, Soong Qingling resolutely decided to marry Sun Yat-sen in exile.
Sun Yat-sen died in Beijing on March 12, 1925. He entrusted Soong Ching-ling and his comrades with the entrustment of "peace, struggle, and saving China."
From September 21 to 30, 1949, the First Plenary Session of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference was held in Beijing, and Soong Ching-ling was elected vice chairman of the Central People's Government of the People's Republic of China and a member of the Standing Committee of the First National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, Soong Ching Ling undertook a large number of state affairs activities for a long time.
In September 1954, Soong Ching-ling was elected vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the First National People's Congress.
On April 7, 1959, the first session of the Second National People's Congress was held, and Soong Qingling was elected vice president of the People's Republic of China. In January 1965, the Third National People's Congress was convened, and she once again served as Vice President of the People's Republic of China.
In January 1975, she was re-elected vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress at the Fourth National People's Congress. In February 1978, he was re-elected as Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Fifth National People's Congress.
On August 30, 1980, he served as the executive chairman of the Fifth National People's Congress at the third session of the congress.
Soong Ching Ling met with many foreign heads of state and dignitaries, as well as party and state leaders, at his former residence. Many of the major events of the Movement for World Peace and the China Welfare Association, which she leads, have been held there.

Tao Yuhe, a native of Xi'an, joined the work in 1970, enlisted in the army in 1973, and worked in the public security department until his retirement after being discharged from the army.
