Screenrant, an extranet scoring media, has scored and ranked various expansions of Warcraft, and it is straight to the point that Age of Dragons is the best expansion in recent years.

10th place: Shadowlands 6.4 points

Does the scoring agency on the Internet score and rank each expansion film, does it match your actual feelings?

The dislike of the Shadowlands made this expansion feel like it had lasted too long. From a story point of view, Shadowlands isn't scary, and the concept of the afterlife is really interesting. World of Warcraft: Shadowlands did sell well initially, and it's really exciting.

The biggest problem with Shadowlands is that the game fails to add any eye-catching updates to the game as a whole, and the expansion doesn't have anything unique compared to the prequel Battle for Azeroth. However, the expansion isn't too bad for new fans, with the narrative, antagonists, and supporting characters all compelling enough to make any fan more interested in the overall lore and story.

9th place: 7 points for Azeroth

Does the scoring agency on the Internet score and rank each expansion film, does it match your actual feelings?

Conquest Azeroth successfully resurrects rivalry between the Alliance and the Horde, which has grown considerably in the World of Warcraft series. "The Return of the Legion" witnesses the final end of the Burning Legion once and for all, while "Battle for Azeroth" focuses on its aftermath.

While quests have always been a big part of World of Warcraft, recent expansions (such as Conquest for Azeroth) do boast some of the best-written quests. The whole story helps to add depth to several characters, including Gianna, as well as her promotion to the role of Admiral Kul Tiras. Kurtilas is a major area in Conquest Azeroth, first introduced in Warcraft II, but never seen much during this time. Witnessing the rise of Kurtilas is a great tug on nostalgia and a way to add more world-building to Azeroth's game.

World of Warcraft is one of the best MMORPGs of all time, and its fifth expansion, King of Draenor, manages to create a sense of nostalgia and make orcs the main threat. This expansion brings back the worlds of the Burning Legion and Draenor, and Garrosh Hell's Roar travels through time and space, causing havoc once again.

One of the best features introduced in King of Draenor is the Stronghold, which enables players to build their own stronghold and have a variety of retinues that players can send out on missions and unlock different rewards, including new gear, mounts, and materials. Buildings can also be built in a manner similar to the original RTS, and the overall functionality allows players to truly feel like they are generals of the Alliance or Horde.

7th place Panda Man Mystery 7.5 points

Does the scoring agency on the Internet score and rank each expansion film, does it match your actual feelings?

World of Warcraft is one of the best multiplayer open-world games, and previous successful expansions have made Pandaman Mystery live up to the hype. The Pandaren's character work and their cultural lore aren't as exciting or interesting as they should be, and from a narrative standpoint, the expansion highlights Garrosh Hellroar and his journey into villain.

The design of these areas is very eye-catching, and the architecture, mountains, and trees are all clearly reflecting the influence of the great eastern power of China, which perfectly captures the mystical atmosphere of Pandaria. The post-cataclysm expansion didn't change significantly, but the game did add a number of beneficial features regarding pets, such as a pet combat system. A better talent tree system has also been integrated for players to level up more naturally.

6th place Cataclysm 7.6 points

Does the scoring agency on the Internet score and rank each expansion film, does it match your actual feelings?

Even the biggest dragon in Game of Thrones will be overshadowed by Cataclysm's final and main antagonist, Deathwing. While this expansion is bound to be disappointing compared to Wrath of the Lich King, Cataclysm has done a lot to keep players interested and engaged.

One of the best features of World of Warcraft ever is transmogification, which allows players to change the appearance of all equipment and weapons. While these areas are hard for new players to understand (as no entirely new region or continent is created like most expansions), they are incredibly memorable, with some of the best World of Warcraft playbooks in them, like the epic battle against Ragnaros in the Land of Fire. The concept of the final group boss against Deathwing is also fantastic, with the player having to fight on his back.

5th place Dragon Age 7.7 points

Does the scoring agency on the Internet score and rank each expansion film, does it match your actual feelings?

Dragon Legion is the best expansion pack in years, where players can help Alexstasa and the other dragons fight against Philek. So far, the story has been exciting, introducing incredible new features to the huge new expansion, such as class improvements, reputation tracking, and the beloved Dragoon ability that can only be used in Dragon Island. This makes traversing the island much easier, and there are also many new abilities to unlock for the dragoon, making the experience even better. The new race and class, the evoker, are also very exciting and have their own flying abilities that can be used throughout the World of Warcraft. The shaping of the little dragon race is also very successful.

Fourth place Legion Returns 8 points

Illidan Fury has long been hailed as one of the most compelling and entertaining characters in World of Warcraft. He shines brightest in this expansion, as he makes his last push in the most epic film the franchise has ever made.

This expansion introduces the long-awaited Demon Hunter class, which debuted in a pre-patch for Return of the Legion and tells the story of players fighting outside the Dark Temple with an incredible storyline. The gameplay of Demon Hunter alone makes the expansion very worthwhile, as players feel like they're playing as Illidan himself. The new area of Broken Beach has some excellent areas as well as some areas that feel less sophisticated. Regardless, Return of the Legion offers one of the best expansions in years and brings some of the most shocking twists in World of Warcraft history – the Great Secret Realm.

3rd place vanilla version 8.4 points

Does the scoring agency on the Internet score and rank each expansion film, does it match your actual feelings?

The vanilla version of World of Warcraft is the base game without any expansions, and while it's often overshadowed by constant additions, it still contains some of the best gameplay content created for MMORPGs.

This is the foundational part of the game, and the player can explore the eastern region and Kalimdor with a large number of quests. Even before they become their main antagonists, players can fight evil forces such as Deathwing and the Lich King, as their armies are the main enemies. The most iconic Bungen is for Kel'thugad, who served the Lich King and served as the main playable character of the Scourge in Warcraft III. The relaunch of the nostalgia game allows new players to see that World of Warcraft is a video game that truly lives up to its name.

Second place Burning Expedition 8.5 points

Does the scoring agency on the Internet score and rank each expansion film, does it match your actual feelings?

Burning Crusade comes at the height of World of Warcraft's popularity, and players flock to the highly anticipated first expansion, but in the real world, controversy continues to emerge about the game and whether it's an addictive game or a kid-friendly game.

The authentic gameplay experience is exciting and offers a narrative continuation of Warcraft III, with major characters such as Illidan Furywind, Kael'thas Sunchaser, and Lady Vaskey all returning as main team dungeons. The details of the various areas of the Outlands are incredible, and even for those who are not that interested in the story, sitting down and playing these quests can be addictive. While the battles that the heroes engage with several important characters are very interesting, the story behind them in Burning Crusade is much more tragic when players learn about the hidden story, especially when playing Warcraft III for the first time and growing fond of the now killable playable characters.

1st place WotLK King 8.8 points

Does the scoring agency on the Internet score and rank each expansion film, does it match your actual feelings?

Wrath of the Lich King is the highest-rated World of Warcraft expansion. It is often referred to as the Golden Age of World of Warcraft.

There is a huge amount of addictive content that takes a long time to reach the highest level. The final preparation for the team was well worth it, and the final battle with the Lich King himself was one of the best moments in World of Warcraft. Just as the real Alsace was seen for the last time before entering eternal darkness. For those familiar with the Wrath of the Lich King's lore, this is an even sadder conclusion. This all-round experience has attracted so many players to the game and has also retained many others.
