As the county-level chief supervisor of the project, Liu Jialing's work tasks are arduous.
At the group meeting of the township supervisors, Liu Jialing will learn more about the counselors' tutoring of the children, and will also follow the counselors to visit their homes. When the counselor visited her home, Liu Jialing sat on the sidelines and observed their interaction with the children. If a problem is found, we will communicate and discuss with the counselor after the home visit to find a teaching method that is suitable for different children.

In addition to her regular work, Liu Jialing also has to deal with "emergencies" on her counselor. Many counselors are mothers with children, and sometimes the children are sick or have an emergency at home, and it is difficult to take care of both. At this time, Liu Jialing will help coordinate and let them take care of the affairs at home before continuing the home visit.
At the same time, Liu Jialing has also formulated a corresponding performance appraisal system and an effective feedback mechanism to provide timely feedback on the appraisal results and communicate with the counselors, understand the work conditions and needs of the counselors, and enhance their self-confidence.
In the past 5 years, Liu Jialing has changed from strange to familiar with everyone, from colleagues to friends, and her work has been affirmed by everyone, and she has won the title of "Excellent Chief Supervisor of the Year of the "Smart Education China: Mountain Village Early Education Program" project for many times. In December 2023, Liu Jialing, as the team leader, represented Youyang to participate in the first "Smart Education China" Nursery Counselor Skills Competition, leading the team to stand out from 18 participating teams across the country and win the second prize in the group category.
"The 'Smart Education China: Early Childhood Education Program in Mountain Villages' project cares for children in mountain villages, and helps poor, disabled, single-parent and other special rural families to establish a scientific concept of parenting, pay attention to family education, and better understand the needs and feelings of children. Liu Jialing introduced that at present, there are more than 300 children in the group of the county's "Huiyu China: Mountain Village Household Early Education Program" project, and 43 project personnel. Since the implementation of the project, a total of 74,506 visits have been made, with an average of about 46 home visits per child, benefiting about 1,604 children. Liu Jialing said that she will continue to sum up experience, strengthen the sense of responsibility, and send better early education services to more children in our county.
