From 2013 to Jingkou Village, Qionglai City to participate in the construction, to 2023 Tianfu Honggu Jingkou Village project prototype...... Yan Pengwen, a volunteer of the Western Project, has been rooted in the countryside for 10 years.

During this period, Yan Pengwen participated in the boutique cultural tourism project "Tianfu Red Valley" in Qionglai City, which turned the local area from a small mountain village into a high-end recuperation and vacation space, and the village has also become a well-known "Internet celebrity village". In recent years, with the government's increased investment in the infrastructure of the village, the cultural tourism project "Tianfu Red Valley" has also helped the practice and exploration of rural revitalization in Qionglai, driving the masses to increase their income and become rich, and injecting regenerative power into rural development.

There are more and more sightseeing greenways and hiking trails in the village, more and more tourists, more and more popularity, more and more employment needs, more and more villagers returning to their hometowns to start businesses, more and more homestays in the village are also opening, and the villagers' wallets are becoming more and more "bulging".

When the "art students" of the Western Project volunteers took root in the countryside

In June 2003, Yan Pengwen, a 23-year-old boy from Tongjiang who came from art education, was impressed by the Western Plan. Soon he signed up and was assigned to Qionglai as a volunteer. He has worked in Qionglai Quanshui Middle School, Qionglai Youth Palace, Qionglai City Construction Headquarters and other places.

After the "4.20 Lushan Earthquake" in 2013, Yan Pengwen was arranged to participate in the post-disaster reconstruction work in Jingkou Village, Gaohe Town (now Tiantaishan Town), Qionglai City, and has been associated with the village since then.

"With the post-disaster reconstruction and land consolidation, the countryside has changed to a certain extent, but seeing that the people are living in unrenovated resettlement houses and the curtains are old sheets, the company decided to carry out a post-disaster industrial reconstruction project in the region. Yan Pengwen said.

At the beginning, Yan Pengwen encountered a lot of difficulties, "Mountainous villages (communities) are affected by geographical factors and lack of resources, and it is extremely difficult for village collectives to realize the value transformation of limited resources. At the same time, the village cadres are busy with daily affairs, their concepts are relatively backward, and they have no experience or time to develop and strengthen the village collective economy. More than that, Yan Pengwen felt that Murakami still seriously lacked marketing and planning talents, which he described as "holding a golden job bowl and asking for food".

In order to solve this problem, the Qionglai Municipal Government innovatively established a joint operation company of "village collective economic organization + villager + state-owned platform company + social enterprise", and implemented the corporatized operation mode of social enterprise as CEO, platform company as chairman, village collective organization participation in management, and mass supervision, to make up for the shortcomings of rural revitalization, develop rural tourism, homestay health care, modern agriculture and other industries according to local conditions, boost the level of industrial development, and strengthen the village-level collective economy, Yan Pengwen participated.

Ten years to witness the changes in the countryside Murakami's days are more hopeful

In July 2016, Yan Pengwen participated as a co-founder of the Tianfu Honggu International Rural Tourism Resort Project, the project takes rural revitalization as its mission, relies on the humanities and natural resources of the original countryside of Gaohe Valley, drives the linkage of primary, secondary and tertiary industries with cultural and creative wisdom, promotes the integrated development of urban and rural areas, and strives to build a domestic first-class, international standard, and the most Tianfu original hometown temperament of the rest and resort tourism area.

With the fame of the Tianfu Red Valley project, more and more tourists from other places have come to Tianfu Red Valley. "The government is also gradually improving the infrastructure in the village. At present, the village has been renovated and the environment has been improved, with 10 kilometers of new sightseeing greenways, 3 hiking trails, and more than 10 B&Bs in the village that have been added or upgraded in business. Yan Pengwen walked in the village, and felt that the overall appearance and industrial structure had undergone qualitative changes, the popularity of the village had gathered, there were more villagers who had returned to their hometowns to start businesses, and there were more jobs that the village could provide.

"There are more tourists in the region, and the villagers' ability to monetize their agricultural products is also greater. At the same time, because of the increase in projects in the village, there are more labor services and jobs provided. The service quality of the farmhouse has improved, and the number of tourists has gradually increased, slowly forming a virtuous circle. Yan Pengwen also revealed that in the future, the village will have more hope, "The planned Tianqiongya Expressway will also pass through the territory, with a special exit;

The local IP drives the villagers to get rich, and the dirty and messy community has been transformed into a 3A-level forest pan scenic spot

Recently, Yan Pengwen's company organized fruit farmers to set up the "Fruit Growers Alliance" to work cultural and creative agricultural products, uphold natural and organic, healthy nutrition, and green ecology, and create a number of special agricultural products with Tiantai recognition and cultural connotation of Tiantai Mountain Town. "Last year, the fruit alone increased the income of regional fruit farmers by about 1 million yuan. Yan Pengwen calculated, "By promoting red research activities and operating red ribbon hotels, we received about 10,000 researchers, and drove more than 10 surrounding B&Bs to increase their income by 1.2 million yuan." ”

In 2016, the company hopes to use 200,000 yuan to rent the people's idle Qingshui houses for 15 years, build boutique homestays, revitalize idle farmhouses, and increase the income of the masses. But because the rent was much higher than 200,000 yuan, the project ended in failure. "The masses did not participate spontaneously. Yan Pengwen began to change his thinking, pay attention to the participation and main position of farmers, pay attention to the introduction of projects and social capital, use enterprise resources, open the exploration and practice of "art lights up the countryside", plan a series of activities such as international photography festivals, village concerts, and Chongyang filial piety festivals, organize the masses to go out to visit and study Xi, invite governance talents to the village (community) to hold mass dam meetings, preach advanced cases and excellent practices of rural revitalization, and let the masses change their thinking.

"Through several years of hard work, we have not only turned the dirty and messy community into a 3A-level forest pan scenic spot, but also allowed more than 10 households to start their own businesses and participate in rural revitalization. Yan Pengwen was very happy. Gao Xuanbing, a local villager, is an entrepreneur, and after participating in many Xi seminars, he invested 2 million yuan to renovate idle houses to create a home for Honggu, and then the company helped him operate, achieving a revenue of nearly 100,000 yuan in 2 months.

The local IP also took the whole village farther and farther away and got rich together. Up to now, the prototype of the large starting area of Jingkou Village Area in Tianfu Honggu has begun to appear, forming an industrial pattern of "one belt and three districts". The project has provided nearly 50,000 person-times of labor and employment, solved the long-term and stable employment of nearly 50 local villagers, supported 15 green finger villagers to start a joint business, drove more than 30 farmhouses to upgrade, and organized nearly 100 special training and exchange activities to help the development of local tourism. Since its operation, the Tianfu Red Valley Cultivation and Reading Taoyuan Project has received more than 500 batches of delegations from all over the world and more than 200,000 tourists.
