Metacritic recently named the top 20 highest-rated Xbox games (Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S) for release in 2023, based on MTC's own media average.
It's important to point out that games on the list must have at least 7 media ratings. If a game is available on more than one Xbox console, the version with the highest rating is taken.
Of course, not all of the following games are Xbox first-party exclusives, and many of them are all platform-wide titles.
