Lotus is one of the most common subjects for film friends, many people have photographed, and I have seen a lot of lotus works, but I always feel that they have not captured the beauty of lotus, the texture of lotus, and the beauty of lotus. I would like to talk about my experience in the process of photographing lotus flowers.
1. Wipe the lens before shooting.
It is best to observe the condition of the lens before shooting, if it is dirty, wipe it first, especially when using a mobile phone to shoot, this is because the mobile phone lens is small, and a slight stain will affect the image quality.
2. Accurate focusing
When shooting lotus flowers, you must focus accurately, so that the phone knows what we want to shoot and what the light and color of the scene are. When we compose the picture, click on the lotus flower to be photographed on the phone, when a small box appears, it is finished focusing, of course, the phone will also focus sometimes, but this kind of autofocus is not necessarily what we want, so it is best to click on it. If you press and hold on the phone screen, a large box will appear on the phone, which means that the target is completely locked and will not change with the jitter.
3. Blur the background and focus the audience's attention on the lotus flowers
Some people may ask, how does the mobile phone blur the background? This is simple, just zoom in a little and focus on the lotus flower, (see 2) then you will find that only the lotus flower is clear, and the others are blurred.
Fourth, 45 degrees left and down
Don't shoot at eye level. Don't shoot straight down, shoot down from about 45 degrees above the flower, so that you can shoot the front and back petals and stamens of the flower, which is more conducive to showing the beauty of the flower.
5. Photograph a single lotus flower
Don't think about taking pictures of flowers, whether it's a mobile phone or a camera, you can't fit the whole pond, and don't shoot even flowers, this even number refers to not taking 2, 4, 6 flowers at the same time, but shooting odd numbers. Of course, it would be best if you shoot a single flower.
6. Shooting time
It's best to shoot around 8 o'clock in the morning, all day on a rainy day, don't think about shooting any flowers in the sun, the flowers under the sun have no details, too much brightness and shade, and don't think about going to the lotus in the pond in the evening, after a day of exposure to the flowers are wilted, and then the color temperature in the evening is low, and the film is blue.
7. Composition
