IT Home reported on December 27 that at the OPPO Find X7 series products technical communication meeting this afternoon, OPPO officially announced its satellite communication technology.

According to OPPO, the Find X7 series supports satellite antenna pattern control technology, bringing handset/hands-free dual-mode satellite calling to smartphones for the first time, making satellite calls more than just walkie-talkies.

IT Home learned from the technical communication meeting that users do not need special angles or special postures, just like ordinary phone calls, close to the ear can also stably answer satellite phones, which is more in line with user Xi.

OPPO said that the mobile phone satellite call experience has evolved from the "satellite walkie-talkie mode" to the real "satellite phone mode". If the user is in a noisy environment such as extreme wind and waves, the speakerphone call in the form of satellite walkie-talkie is likely to be inaudible, while the voice of the call in the satellite phone mode is clearer, and the communication efficiency can be higher in an emergency.

In addition, OPPO has launched the "Super Signal Project" program to ensure a stable communication experience in three typical scenarios: remote mountainous areas/rural areas with poor signals, urban areas with complex signals, and indoor home office areas.

In terms of antenna signals, the low-frequency n28 and n8 bands have been upgraded to support Super Quad LF antenna technology, doubling the number of low-frequency MIMO receiving channels, and by applying OPPO's self-developed human electromagnetic theory model, the low-frequency signal has increased by up to 7dB instead of decreasing when holding the next-generation Find X flagship.
