According to the China Securities Journal on December 19, on December 19, at the 2023 Open Source Industry Ecology Conference, Gong Ti, President of Huawei's Device BG Software Department, said that the total number of HarmonyOS ecological devices exceeded 700 million, of which more than 300 million Huawei's own devices. It is expected that from the end of this year to next year, the number of Hongmeng ecological equipment will gradually reach 800 million to 1 billion units, and the development will be rapid.
Gong Ti said that there are more than 220 industrial terminals and commercial devices based on OpenHarmony, which have now been fully commercialized, covering more than 10 industries such as finance, education, and transportation. At present, more than 440 software and hardware products of OpenHarmony have passed the community compatibility evaluation, and more than 220 industry ecosystem partners have contributed. OpenHarmony has become the root community of the next-generation intelligent terminal operating system and the digital foundation of the Internet of Everything.

According to Gong Ti, OpenHarmony has been open source for three years, with more than 6,200 community co-builders, 51 co-builders, and more than 100 million lines of code.

Since Huawei announced the full launch of HarmonyOS native applications in September, enterprises and developers in various fields including social networking, audio-visual, games, information, finance, and food have joined the construction of the HarmonyOS ecosystem.
According to the cover news on December 8, on December 7, Alipay and Huawei terminals announced their cooperation to start Alipay's HarmonyOS native application development based on HarmonyOS NEXT, becoming another head platform partner to start HarmonyOS native application development, and the HarmonyOS ecological layout has been further improved.
In addition to Alibaba, Internet companies such as Meituan, Xiaohongshu, Bilibili, Weibo, and AutoNavi Map have also started to develop HarmonyOS native applications. According to public information, leading applications in subdivisions such as Bank of Communications, Agricultural Bank of China, 58.com, WPS, NetEase Youdao Dictionary, Driving Test Dictionary, Homework Gang, Happy Match, McDonald's, Tongcheng Travel, and Air China have also entered the new HarmonyOS ecosystem.
