In recent years, Hainan's mangoes, lychees and melons have sold well worldwide, and the mango industry in Sanya, Hainan Province, has become the largest tropical fruit industry. The local mango planting area is 360,000 mu (about 150,000 rai), with an annual output value of about 6 billion yuan (about 29.4 billion baht).
