On September 28 this year, the 5th anniversary of Shi Shengjie's death, Shi Shengjie's family and apprentices held a grand commemorative event for Shi Shengjie in the cemetery.

After the commemoration was over, the "Disciple of Shi Shengjie and the famous cross talk artist Liu Tong accepted the apprentice on behalf of the teacher and Jia Wei's apprenticeship ceremony" was held in the hotel.
"Accepting apprentices on behalf of teachers" is another way of saying "Daila junior disciples".
"Brother Daila" is a relatively old tradition in the cross talk world, and it is said that it has been Brother Dai since Zhu Shaowen's time.
After the death of the master, the senior disciple of the head of the family will replace the master to accept the apprentice.

Jia Wei, who apprenticed this time, is the director of the Henan Quyi Artists Association and the vice chairman of the Luoyang Quyi Artists Association, he met Shi Shengjie in 1993 and later became Shi Shengjie's student.
The apprenticeship ceremony is relatively simple, Jia Wei first bowed to his senior brother Liu Tongsan, and then bowed to his sister Song Yan and offered flowers.
Jia Wei was originally a student of Shi Shengjie, why did he have to become an apprentice? This is because there is a big difference between a student and an apprentice, and only an apprentice can write into the cross talk genealogy, and a student is not allowed.
