On the evening of December 18, a 6.2-magnitude earthquake occurred in Jishishan County, Linxia Prefecture, Gansu Province, with an epicenter depth of 10 kilometers, which has killed many people and damaged some water, electricity, transportation, communications and other infrastructure. The Rescue Coordination and Emergency Plan Administration of the Ministry of Emergency Management urgently dispatched the Pterodactyl-2H emergency disaster response drone independently developed by the aviation industry to Jishishan County, Gansu Province, to carry out emergency disaster reconnaissance and other emergency disaster response tasks, providing strong support for emergency rescue.
At 12:43 on the 19th, the Pterodactyl-2H emergency disaster response UAV took off from Zigong Lantian Airport with reconnaissance and communication payloads and flew to Jishishan County, Gansu Province. The visual command effectively guarantees that the command hall can understand the on-site disaster situation in real time, grasp the disaster situation and casualties in a timely manner, and provide a key decision-making basis for clarifying the key direction of rescue and disaster relief and the efficient dispatch of rescue forces.
The Pterodactyl-2H emergency disaster response UAV has the characteristics of long range, long endurance, large load, strong environmental adaptability, etc., and can fly normally in 8 to 10 winds and perform tasks such as disaster reconnaissance and emergency communication support, and has experienced many emergency rescue practical tests under extreme conditions.
