At 6:30 on December 19, the China Meteorological Administration launched the second-level emergency response of the earthquake disaster meteorological service.
The weather in Jishishan County is expected to be mainly sunny in the next three days, and the most important thing to pay attention to for rescue work is the low temperature in the high-altitude area.
The meteorological department expects local temperatures of -14°C to 1°C and winds of 3 to 5 on these three days.

Disaster relief personnel should take measures to prevent cold and warmth to prevent hypothermia in the human body, pay attention to safety when heating in emergency tents, and beware of carbon monoxide poisoning when using open flames.

According to the forecast of the Qinghai Provincial Meteorological Service Center, on the 19th, the Jishishan earthquake area and the surrounding traffic along the line were mainly sunny or cloudy weather. During the day on the 19th, the gusts of wind along G6, S201, G0611, and G310 were large, which had a certain impact on the transportation of materials.
