By chance, I became obsessed with chess

In 2001, Zheng Yuhang was born into a peasant family in Suchen Town, Hailing District.
One day when he was 10 years old, his cousin pulled him to the chess interest class of Teacher Song Xinchun of Su Chen Primary School to audit. "At that time, I felt that I was a general on the side of the Chu River and the Han Dynasty, and the chess pieces were my thousands of troops and horses, and I liked it all at once." Zheng Yuhang said. In this way, Song Xinchun had one more student.
At that time in Taizhou, the chess style was very popular, and a large number of potential chess teenagers were born. Most of them received chess initiation at the age of five or six, and many of them won the provincial championship and the national championship title by the age of 10. Compared with them, Zheng Yuhang started late, his chess strength was weak, and the gap was not a little and a half.
Without the opportunity to play, Zheng Yuhang could only take advantage of the gap between games under the leadership of his father Zheng Xiaosheng to watch and steal chess.

Studying and practicing chess everywhere
"As long as you see the goal, your father will support you unconditionally." Zheng Xiaosheng was determined to cultivate Zheng Yuhang into a talent. He took his son around to seek a teacher, and successively worshiped Liu Zhifeng, Tang Hua, the king of Jiangyan chess, and Huang Weikui, the king of Taizhou chess, as his teachers, and also received guidance from Zhu Xiaohu, a chess master from Jiangyan.
With the increasing improvement of chess strength, Zheng Yuhang began to emerge in major competitions in the province. Xu Tianhong, vice president of Jiangsu Chess Academy and Taizhou chess grandmaster, made an exception and let him participate in the training of Jiangsu Chess Academy.
In December 2016, zheng Yuhang was admitted to the Hangzhou Chess Sports School after graduating from Su Chen Middle School, and under the guidance of Grandmaster Chen Hanfeng, he launched a sprint to professional chess players, practicing chess every day except for eating, sleeping and cultural classes.
In 2018, Zheng Yuhang finally ushered in an outbreak. In this year, he defeated the Grandmaster several times, and at the National Chess Youth Championship that year, he won the second place and was promoted to the first level athlete. In 2020, he won the National Open Chess Championship In the Senior Division. This year, he also won the championship of the amateur chess championship "Le in Chess" and the first Jiangsu Xiangqi Open Tournament.
Zheng Yuhang (first from left) and Liu Zijian, Zhao Ziyu and Wang Tianyi became teammates.
In 2021, Zheng Yuhang officially signed a contract with the Hangzhou Branch of the China Chess Academy to accept the guidance of ma Tianyue and Zhao Jian.
On June 8, under the leadership of wang tianyi, Zhao Ziyu and Liu Zijian, Zheng Yuhang went to the national chess team championship held in Qingdao. In the game, he defeated Sun Xinhao, Dai Chaohong and other masters and successfully promoted to Chinese chess master.
