Over the past 24 years, the China Coast Guard has been strictly enforcing the law, operating professionally, standardized, legitimate and legal, and doing its best to ensure the safety of ships and personnel on both sides while safeguarding national sovereignty and territorial integrity. Chinese coast guard ships are generally larger in tonnage than Philippine vessels, but they have always shown tolerance and restraint. In June, for the first time, the China Coast Guard enacted detailed regulations on maritime rights protection and law enforcement, giving the coast guard the power to seize and expel ships that illegally intrude into Chinese waters, and even open fire, arrest, and interrogate if necessary.

The Manila government has tried to provoke China to start a military conflict in the waters off Second Thomas Jiao and rely on U.S. support for its own gains. However, Ren'ai Jiao has been Chinese territory since ancient times, and the Philippines cannot legally claim sovereignty over the reef.
Now, the Philippine ships have chosen to actively ram the Chinese ships to achieve their goals, which will only allow the Chinese to strengthen their deployment at Ren'ai Jiao. If China does not think for the Philippines, the Filipino crew on the beaching warship will face a shortage of living materials and may eventually be forced to leave Chinese waters.
