The 2023 Huangshan Marathon, themed "Meeting the World and Running the Yellow Mountain", will start at the foot of the Yellow Mountain on October 29. There are three events: marathon, half marathon and happy run, when more than 12,000 runners will meet in Huangshan District to attend the Yellow Horse Gala. The starting point of the 2023 Huangshan Marathon is located in the Government Square of Huangshan District, passing through Xuanyuan Avenue and Beihai Road to Taiping Lake, "Jiangnan Jade".
In autumn, Taiping Lake has towering redwood trees, standing in rows on the shore of the lake, looking across the lake, the cyan hills and red and yellow leaves of different shades constitute a picture of autumn colors.
Through the Shilishan Nature Reserve with excellent environment and beautiful scenery, followed by the Puxi River leisure and tourism area with four major areas: wetland science viewing area, original township cultural experience area, urban celebration activity area, riverside style leisure area, and finally to Jiangjiashan Ruins Park and Furong Valley, all the way to the mountains and rivers, the autumn scenery is infinite, the end of the marathon is set at the north gate of Huangshan at the foot of the Huangshan Mountain, the line design passes through the center of the urban area and the natural scenic spots, realizing the dream linkage from the modern city to the beautiful landscape.
"The four 4A-level scenic spots in Huangshan District, in addition to the Taiping Lake Scenic Area and the Furong Valley Scenic Area along the track, the Jiulong Waterfall and Emerald Valley Scenic Area at the foot of Huangshan Mountain are also preferential policies for athletes participating in this event to give free tickets." Chen Yan, head of the Publicity Center of the Huangshan District Cultural Tourism and Sports Bureau, introduced.
In this event, the integration of sports and tourism will refresh the experience of runners. In addition to the four tourist attractions in Huangshan District, six scenic spots above 4A level in Huangshan Scenic Area, Hongcun, Xidi, Huashan Mysterious Grotto, Xin'an Jiangshan Landscape Gallery and Qiyunshan will be open to all participants free of charge during the marathon (October 30 to November 5).

"At present, we have received a lot of travel inquiries, many of which are about to compete here and their families." Chen Yan said that for the contestants, through a series of free and open activities in scenic spots, she hopes to promote tourism and attract more tourists to sightseeing and tourism.
