Q: How did you participate in "Plum Blossom and Peach"?
Han Dongjun: Actually, I haven't acted in spy war dramas before, and I'm quite interested in this diversified script, which sets up interesting and urgent plots.
Q: Chen Jiaping in "Plum Blossom and Red Peach", dashing and unruly on the outside, firm and calm inside, how do you interpret this character?
Han Dongjun: Because Chen Jiaping's real identity is an underground party, but he lurks in a Japanese trading house, in order to cover up his identity, it may sometimes be seen by outsiders that he is a person who goes to work and fish.
Q: You have recently had many popular works, what are the criteria for choosing a script now? In the years since his debut, what kind of new understanding of performance have he had?
Han Dongjun: I was wondering if I could make some characters that everyone felt more interesting, meaningful, and more socially topical, and leave something for everyone. Here are some of my thoughts and feelings when I was filming "Plum Blossom and Red Peach".
Q: What Han Dongjun do you want to show the audience through the theme of spy warfare and character interpretation?
Han Dongjun: The spy war drama is to give the audience some sense of suspense and urgency, but we added some interesting elements to the creation process of "Plum Blossom and Red Peach", so we want the audience to relax while being urgent, so there will be some more interesting and interesting interpretations.
Q: When filming opposite Guan Xiaotong, do you often laugh?
Han Dongjun: No, everyone is a professional actor. Xiaotong is very terrier, and everyone still has a tacit understanding when they cooperate.
I like "Lurking" and "The Pretender", and I want to play Mingtai the most
Q: There are many film and television dramas with the theme of spy warfare, do you have any favorite episodes?
Han Dongjun: I used to like a spy war drama called "Lurking", and my favorite character is Yu Zecheng. What I learned from this is the "stability" of the character, that is, the "stable" word of stability, and Mr. Sun Honglei performed particularly layered and stable, which is the hidden ability of an intelligence officer.
Then there is "The Pretender", I especially want to play the role of Lao Hu, called Mingtai.
Q: You've created a lot of characters over the years, which one do you admire the most? What other types of things would you like to try for the future?
Han Dongjun: I will shape it because I like it, and look for some (highlights) from the characters. If I were just Han Dongjun myself, I would just feel a part of my life. But when you play a role, you collide with many opponents, and you will feel a lot of different lives, which is also the charm of being an actor.
I still have a lot of roles that I want to try, there are a lot of all kinds of people in our lives, as long as I haven't played it, I want to try it again, as long as I have the opportunity.
Q: What are you shooting now?
Han Dongjun: It's also a spy war drama, but this one is not quite the same as "Plum Blossom Red Peach", and I hope to meet you earlier.
Never define yourself as a type of actor
Q: What type of story or character does it pique you more about acting today?
Han Dongjun: Roles with more complexity and layers, or stories will arouse the desire to perform, in fact, to put it bluntly, I think actors like to have rich inner roles, so that every time they act in a play, or every role they play, they have that cheerful feeling.
Q: Will you still shoot modern idol dramas later?
Han Dongjun: I will shoot it, as long as the script, characters, and time are right. I have never set myself as a type of actor, I think as long as the subject matter is good, the script is good, and then meaningful, and can bring the audience some feelings and insights, I think I will try.
