Double-petaled elm leaf plum, also known as small pink, is a plant of the genus Prunus in the family Rosaceae. The flower language of elm leaf plum is bright spring, flowers and thriving, and it is known as elm leaf luan branch. Because of its early flowering, it blooms as late as early April every year, and many people call it the "messenger of spring".
The leaves are like elms, and the flowers are like plums, which is the origin of the name of elm leaf plum. Ulmus ulmus is a more "heavy" variety in Ulmus ulmus, with reddish-brown flowers, large, double-petaled, many and dense flowers, more than 10 calyxes, calyx and peduncle with red halo. Because of its large flowers, it is also called "large-flowered elm leaf plum". It is an important greening tree species, mainly used for street greening and community greening.
