According to the news on the website of the Central Meteorological Observatory on October 3, this year's No. 14 typhoon "Little Dog" will gradually approach the southern coast of Taiwan Island, and will make landfall or wipe over the southern coast of Taiwan Island from the night of the 4th to the morning of the 5th, and then move westward, gradually weakening in intensity. The rain continues to be in western China, and there will be a new round of rainfall. There is a strong wind cooling process in the north, 3-5 days, affected by cold air, most of Inner Mongolia, Gansu, Qinghai, most of the northeast and other places have 4~6 °C cooling, local cooling above 8 °C, and accompanied by 4~6 northerly wind, gusts 8~9.

Typhoon "Little Dog" will affect the island of Taiwan

The center of this year's No. 14 typhoon "KOINU" (super typhoon) was located at 5 o'clock this morning (3rd) in the northwest Pacific Ocean about 490 kilometers south-east of Eluanbi, Taiwan Province, that is, 20.2 degrees north latitude and 125.2 degrees east longitude, the maximum wind near the center is 16 (52 m/s), the lowest pressure in the center is 935 hPa, the radius of the seven-level wind circle is 300-550 kilometers, and the radius of the ten-level wind circle is 120-150 kilometers. The radius of the twelfth wind circle is 60 km. It is expected that the "little dog" will move northwest at a speed of 10-15 kilometers per hour, gradually approaching the southern coast of Taiwan Island, with little change in intensity, and will make landfall or wipe over the southern coast of Taiwan Island (strong typhoon or super typhoon, 45-52 m/s, 14-16), and then move westward, gradually weakening in intensity. The Central Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow typhoon warning at 06:00 on October 3.

It is expected that from 08 o'clock on the 3rd to 08 o'clock on the 4th, there will be 6-8 level winds in the southern East China Sea and the waters near the Diaoyu Islands, the ocean east of Taiwan, the Bus Strait, the Taiwan Strait, the northeast of the South China Sea, the southern coast of Zhejiang, the coast of Fujian, and the coast of Taiwan Island, the wind in the southeast of Taiwan Island will have 9-12 degrees, and the wind in the nearby sea passing by the center of the "little dog" can reach 13-16 and gusts of 17.

It continued to be rainy in western China

From the night of the 3rd, there will be a new round of rainfall in southern Gansu, Shaanxi, eastern Sichuan, Chongqing, northern Guizhou, western Hubei, western Henan and other places, with moderate to heavy rain in some areas and local heavy rain; There was moderate to heavy snow or sleet in northern Tibet, most of Qinghai, western Gansu, and local blizzards or heavy snowstorms.

In addition, on the 4th, there will be moderate to heavy rain, local heavy rain or heavy rain in southeast Tibet.

There are moderate to heavy rains in parts of northern and southeastern Tibet, south-central and eastern Qinghai, south-central Gansu, central Shaanxi, northeastern Inner Mongolia, central and western Heilongjiang, among which, there are heavy rains (50~60 mm) in the Guanzhong Basin of Shaanxi.
