The Qiantu K50 is the first product of Qiantu Automobile, positioned as a pure electric sports car. Qiantu Auto is the brand of Beijing Great Wall Huaguan Automotive Technology Co., Ltd., and the brand concept of "traveling the world first" is instantly reminiscent of the "worries and worries of the world" in Fan Zhongyan's "Notes on Yueyang Lou".
The Qiantu K50 debuted at the 2015 Shanghai International Auto Show and was officially launched in 2016, with a starting price of more than 750,000 yuan. On Friday, September 22, 2023, the Mullen GT all-electric sports car made its debut at Citi Field, home of MLB team New York Metros. The new car inherits the aluminum alloy carbon fiber composite body-in-white structure of the Qiantu K50, adopts a dual-motor drive system, and is equipped with Brembo brake calipers, and the official said that the new car has a pure electric range of more than 200 miles, or about 320 kilometers. The cabin is made of plenty of leather and Alcantara for a sporty look.
Mullen also plans to launch a lower-priced entry-level GT and a more powerful GT RS, with an entry-level drive motor performance of 375 horsepower and a 100-kilometer acceleration of nearly 4.2 seconds. However, Mullen did not disclose the motor performance of the high-performance GT RS version, but said that the acceleration to 100 kilometers is close to 1.95 seconds, and the top speed can reach 322 kilometers per hour.
In addition to the "resurrection" future K50, Mullen actually has a number of new cars to be released. According to the plan, a compact pure electric SUV named "Five" will be launched in the middle of 2024, which is also equipped with the standard version and the RS performance version.
