Libya: Floods threaten the ancient city of Cyrene

Recently, Hurricane Daniel hit eastern Libya, causing severe flooding and causing a large number of casualties. According to foreign reports, flooding in Libya has threatened the security of the ancient city of Cyrene. The ancient city of Cyrene has occupied an important place since ancient Greek times, and UNESCO designated the ancient city site of Cyrene as a World Heritage Site in 1982.
