A few days ago, Zhidian Mobility obtained the appearance rendering pictures of Audi's new generation A4 model, the new car will be officially renamed "A5", and its A4 serial product plan will completely stop selling fuel version models, and only launch pure electric models for consumers to buy. At the same time, the product series of the domestic new generation A4L fuel version will also be replaced by the upcoming A5L in the future, and it is expected to be replaced with a small-displacement engine, and the market price may be more cost-effective than BMW 3 Series, Mercedes-Benz C-Class and other models.

As can be seen from the released exterior renderings, the new generation of Audi's A5 model is equipped with a relatively flat mesh grille on the head, and new LED headlight clusters are provided on both sides. The C-pillar position of the body still adopts the design style of a rollerback sports coupe, and a through-type LED tail light cluster may be provided above the tailgate for the first time, and a bilateral single-exit exhaust layout is expected below the production model.

In terms of power, Audi's new generation A5 model is expected to be equipped with 1.5T and 2.0T low/high power turbocharged engines, and the transmission system may be upgraded to an 8-speed manual automatic transmission, and some models will also be equipped with a four-wheel drive system. At the same time, the new car is also expected to launch a 1.5T plug-in hybrid model for consumers to purchase.
