#How beautiful is autumn in the lens# 2⃣3⃣

The Yunnan golden snub-nosed monkey is a rare and endangered primate endemic to China.

🐒

It is only distributed in the Yunling Mountain Range of the Hengduan Mountain System on the southern edge of the Himalayas, at the junction of the three provinces and regions of Sichuan, Yunnan and Tibet in China, and a small area between the Lancang River and the Jinsha River.

🐒

The Yunnan golden snub-nosed monkey inhabits the alpine dark coniferous forest belt above 3000 meters above sea level, and its range can range from 2500 meters to 5000 meters in the mountains, feeding on pineapples, bamboo shoots, young leaves, shoots and flower buds of plants.

🐒

The fur of the Yunnan golden snub-nosed monkey is not golden yellow, mainly gray, black and white. Chinese standard name should be "black snub-nosed monkey". They have a pointed black crown hair on the top of their head, a bluish-grey or flesh-pink nose around the eyes and snout, and a dark blue upturned nose.
