Jiang Zhujun was born in 1920 in Zigong, Sichuan, and joined the Communist Party of China in 1939. It is the character archetype of Sister Jiang in the novel "Red Rock". In 1948, her husband Peng Yongwu, one of the leaders of the Chongqing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, died tragically, and Jiang Zhujun took over her husband's work with grief. Arrested in June of the same year for betrayal by traitors, she remained unyielding in the face of the enemy's torture, "Bamboo sticks are made of bamboo, and the will of Communists is steel!" On November 14, 1949, Jiang zhujun was killed in Zhazhidong Prison, sacrificing his life for the communist ideal at the age of 29.

Liu Heping, director of the Research Department of the Hongyan Revolutionary History Museum in Chongqing: Firm ideals and convictions are the consistent spirit of the communists represented by Sister Jiang, which enlightens us to closely link our ideals with the future of the motherland, take root in the people, and dedicate ourselves to the country.
