The couple wanted to move to Malibu and buy a house on the coast. Considered one of the most desirable and prestigious in the United States, the area is home to celebrities and wealthiest people, including Charlize Theron, Leonardo DiCaprio, Cher, Lady Gaga, and Miley Cyrus.
A key factor in the couple's decision was proximity to downtown Los Angeles and Beverly Hills: it took less than an hour to get there. Now, the road from Montecito takes more than three hours during rush hour.
"Harry and Meghan were very interested in Malibu. They have secretly visited the area several times to take a closer look at their surroundings and study them. Also, Meghan knows that area because she grew up there," he quoted expressing insider words.
