Remove tentacles adhering to the skin as soon as possible: On the spot, you can wipe off the tentacles or venom that stick to the skin with towels and clothes. Remember not to rub the stung area directly with your hands to avoid aggravating the pain.

Do not rinse with fresh water: After being stung by jellyfish, do not rinse with fresh water, as fresh water can cause the stingrays to release venom. Wash the damaged area with seawater.

Alum water or alkaline solution rinse: if possible, the affected area can be rinsed or sprayed with alum water or alkaline solution, and in severe cases, the affected area is coldly applied with 10% sodium bicarbonate solution to remove the stinging cells that remain on the skin that have not yet radiated venom, deactivating the tentacles or stinging cells, thereby alleviating sting symptoms.
