In the end, the Kyrgyzstan national football team lost to Iran 1-5.

The CAFA Cup is the first edition of CAFA, with seven teams participating, with Group A consisting of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Oman, and Group B consisting of Kyrgyzstan, Iran and Afghanistan. Among them, the highest ranking by FIFA is Iran in 24th place, and the lowest is Afghanistan in 155th place.

The team that finishes second in their respective group will compete for third place, and the first place in the group will compete in the final.

Kyrgyzstan's next match will be played in Tashkent on June 20, where they will face Tajikistan, Oman or Turkmenistan, who finished second in Group A, for third place in the Central Asian Cup.
