At noon on October 7, Mr. Zong Pu, a contemporary writer, winner of the 6th Mao Dun Literature Award, winner of the 3rd Shi Nai'an Literature Award, and 94 years old, was invited by the Xincai County Party Committee and the county government to return to his hometown of Zhumadian Xincai to participate in the symposium to commemorate the 110th anniversary of the Xinhai Revolution.
Mr. Zong Pu, formerly known as Feng Zhongpu, is the granddaughter of Ren Zhiming, a famous patriotic democratic revolutionary, social activist and educator in modern times, and the daughter of the famous philosophical master Feng Youlan. Mr. Zong Pu began to publish his works in 1947, published the fairy tale collection "The Moon Hunting Collection" in 1957, and published the short story "Red Beans" in the same year to attract the attention of the literary world. At the age of 60, he began writing a series of novels about wild gourds. At the age of 89, after the "Record of Southern Crossing", "The Record of Eastern Tibet" and "The Record of the Western Expedition", the "Record of Northern Return" that had been brewing for many years was finally released, marking a successful end to the four volumes of the Wild Gourd Introduction Series. His major works include Selected Prose Novels of Zong Pu, the collection of essays "Lilac Knot", the novel "Nandu Ji", the translation of "Selected Poems of Mussée" (co-translation), "Daughter of Rapachini" and so on. His work "Dream on the String" won the 1978 National Outstanding Short Story Award, "SanshengShi" won the National Excellent Novella Award from 1977 to 1980, the essay collection "Lilac Knot" won the National Outstanding Prose (Collection) Award, and "Dongzang Ji" won the Sixth Mao Dun Literature Award.
Mr. Zong Pu's maternal grandfather, Mr. Ren Zhiming, was an outstanding representative of the historical and cultural celebrities of Xincai County, a member of the League in the late Qing Dynasty, a famous patriotic democratic revolutionary, social activist and educator in modern and modern times. After liberation, he served as a member of the Henan Provincial Government, vice chairman of the Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and chairman of the Provincial Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese People. Ren Zhiming died at the age of 100, through the three historical periods of the late Qing Dynasty, the Republic of China and the People's Republic of China, he was a legendary figure with great influence in modern times, and opening his family history was enough to gain insight into the modern and modern history. Throughout his life, he pursued democracy and progress, participated in the League, opposed the Manchu Qing dictatorship, opposed Yuan Shikai's claim to the throne, opposed the dark rule of the Kuomintang, and supported and followed the Chinese Communist Party.
In the afternoon of the same day, Mr. Zong Pu's daughter Feng Jue was interviewed by reporters. She first expressed her surprise and appreciation for the high-quality leapfrog development of urban construction in our city. She said that Mr. Zong Pu had always wanted to return to his grandfather's hometown to see, especially to see the rape flowers in the spring, but due to physical health reasons, he had never been able to make the trip. This time back, Mr. Zong Pu is very happy, if the body allows to want to see more of the parents' style. Feng Jue also said that although her mother is 94 years old and has passed the age of her back, due to her weak eyesight, reading can only be "ear reading", first choose a good article, and then ask someone to read to her, and writing is more difficult, first dictate, ask the assistant to record it, and then repeatedly revise and polish until satisfied.
