On October 9, Xincai County held a symposium to commemorate the 110th anniversary of the Xinhai Revolution, which was attended by Mr. Zong Pu, a descendant and representative of the members of the county's famous league association, and others. Dozens of descendants of martyrs gathered together to relive the historical merits of the new Cai ancestors and feel their revolutionary feelings of going forward for the rejuvenation of the nation.
Through the history of outstanding figures in the Xinhai Revolution, the proportion of new Cai people should not be underestimated: Liu Jixue, Ren Zhiming, Yan Zigu, Liu Puxuan... A group of well-known people of the new Cai joined the revolution at a time when the mountains and rivers were fluttering, and went forward to overthrow the feudal monarchy. As an important source of the Xinhai Revolution in Henan, Xincai was once called the three major centers of the Xinhai Revolution in Henan, together with Kaifeng and Luoyang, and had a very special status.
In 1908, Xincai had developed more than 30 members of the League, and had established the Xincai County Branch of the Chinese League Association alone, which was the only county-level League Branch in Henan Province. In its heyday, there were more than 120 members, accounting for about 17% of Yu members. Mr. Zong Pu's maternal grandfather Ren Zhiming was one of the many revolutionary pioneers.
Invited to return to Xincai this time, Mr. Zong Pu was full of admiration for the new appearance of his hometown: "Unlike what I thought, it is a good place to live!" Indeed, what was once a thousand-year-old county is now rejuvenated, with high-rise buildings lined up one after another, wide and neat streets, dotted with lakes and trees in the city, the Xiaohong River on the outskirts of the city flowing with joy, the former "flood guest house", and now the charming water city, the prosperous new Cai, a brand-new picture of the rise of the momentum is slowly unfolding in this thick land, and all this is more and more shining because of the revolutionary spirit of the ancestors.
The Memorial Hall of the Xinhai Revolution, the former residence of Ren Zhiming, and now the middle school... Mr. Zong Pu visited them one by one.
The first to arrive was the former residence of Mr. Ren Zhiming. Pushing open the red door, Mr. Zong Pu stared at everything here, and there were more vicissitudes of time in his eyes. Countless dreams of returning to home, countless times of thinking of the place where my grandfather once lived to see, now the wish has finally come true, the dream scene is in front of you, the old man's eyes are a little moist.
Martyr Ren Zhiming joined the League against the Qing Dynasty when he was young, became the head of the National Party after the founding of the Republic of China, and later joined the Communist Party of China... The heroic deeds of the ancestors passed before their eyes one by one, evoking the infinite memories of Mr. Zong Pu and engraving them in the hearts of every visitor.
Coming to the tomb of Mr. Ren Zhiming, Mr. Zong Pu trembled and stretched out his hand and touched his grandfather's monument affectionately, and her relative, who had been separated for many years, was expressing the deepest respect for the martyrs' ancestors.
During the new Cai period, Mr. Zong Pu was most impressed by the youthful face of jin is now in middle school. This is the school founded by Mr. Ren Zhiming. "Your family's deep patriotic feelings and dedication to others continue to guide us, inspire us, and inspire us, and all of us are now students determined to serve the motherland and win glory for the country." Hearing the little docent's affectionate explanation, Mr. Zong Pu's eyes revealed encouragement and expectation for the children, and he would smile.
"My grandfather was a revolutionary martyr, and coming to Xincai to see him has always been a wish of mine. Today, I watch new China step by step become prosperous and strong, and my hometown is also becoming rich and beautiful step by step, and my heart is full of joy. Mr. Zong Pu said affectionately at the symposium.
Although the revolutionary martyrs have left, their spirit has always been engraved in the hearts of future generations. Wang Keming, the grandson of Ren Zhiming, who came to attend the meeting, told reporters that although the motherland has become stronger and richer, the task of national rejuvenation is still very arduous, "The road of national rejuvenation opened by the Xinhai Revolution has not yet been completed, and on the occasion of commemorating the 110th anniversary of the revolution, looking back at history and carrying forward the precious spirit of the ancestors is the best commemoration of them and a great manifestation of the value of the Xinhai Revolution." ”
