Summer food safety early warning risk tips

In summer, high temperatures and humidity are easy to breed bacteria and cause food to rot and spoil. At the same time, wild mushrooms, wild vegetables also due to the abundant rainfall in summer and into the growth period, it is very easy to cause food poisoning caused by accidental ingestion, in order to protect the public's food safety and health, Yingde Food and Drug Safety Office reminds you:

1. Prevent bacterial food poisoning. Food should be cooked thoroughly, and cold vegetables, raw seafood and other foods should be carefully consumed. Do not eat expired mildew, abnormal sensory food, food in the process of processing should pay attention to cleanliness and hygiene, so that finished products, semi-finished products and raw materials are separated, raw and cooked separately, meat and vegetables are separated. The ingredients should be washed, and the cutting and storing of the food blades and tableware should be separated from raw and cooked to avoid cross-contamination of raw and cooked food. Heated food should be cooked thoroughly, and cold dishes should be eaten freshly cooked.

Second, prevent wild vegetable and mushroom poisoning. Do not eat, buy unfamiliar, difficult to identify or unknown origin mushrooms and wild vegetables, odor, mold, and grow in fields sprayed with pesticides and fertilizers. Wild vegetables need to be soaked, steamed, cooked and other ways before eating, do not blindly superstitious the so-called "health", "medicinal" and "therapeutic" effects of some wild vegetables.

Third, the purchase of ingredients should be cautious. When purchasing food raw materials, you should buy them in regular shopping malls, supermarkets and markets with complete licenses and sanitary standards. When buying pre-packaged food, pay attention to check the label identification, and do not buy products without factory name, factory address, production date, and shelf life. When buying edible agricultural products, pay attention to whether they are fresh, whether there is spoilage, whether there is a broken smell, and do not purchase meat that has not been inspected and quarantined and livestock and poultry meat of unknown origin. Be cautious about buying homemade cooked food, coleslaw, barbecue food, etc. sold by roadside vendors, and do not eat high-risk foods such as textured snails, puffer fish, wild mushrooms, wild fruits, etc.

Fourth, food storage should be scientific. The purchase of refrigerated or frozen food should be stored in the refrigerator as soon as possible (the refrigeration temperature should be 0 °C ~ 8 °C, the freezing temperature should be lower than -12 °C), avoid long-term exposure at room temperature, and try to achieve separation or independent packaging to avoid cross-contamination. Ready-to-eat food should be properly stored and eaten as soon as possible after opening, and should not be stored for a long time. Cooked food should not be stored at room temperature for more than 2 hours. Edible oil should be stored in a dark and cool condition.

Fifth, dining places are very important. When eating out or ordering online, choose a catering service unit with complete licenses, good sanitary conditions, clean environment and good evaluation, and do not choose small restaurants without licenses or street mobile food stalls. When eating, pay attention to identifying whether the food provided by the catering service unit has abnormal sensory properties. Order food in moderation, eliminate food waste, and advocate the "CD-ROM Action".

6. Awareness of rights protection should be enhanced. Consumers who have suspected food poisoning symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea and other suspected food poisoning symptoms after eating pre-packaged food, takeaway delivery or eating out should seek medical attention immediately, and keep all remaining food, laboratory reports, bills and other relevant information for investigation, and call 12315 in time to make complaints and reports.
