The trial operation of the southern section of Line 1 began on September 6, and was carried out in three phases, during which the signal level was from low to high, the on-line trains were from less to more, the train running map time was from short to long, the travel interval was from long to short, and the operation level was gradually improved.
The first stage is the run-in stage of human-machine equipment to improve the speed of train operation and the level of personnel operation; the second stage is the high-density driving stage, which gradually compresses the interval between trains and verifies the reliability of the equipment; the third stage is the simulation of the initial operation stage, which organizes the traffic according to the timetable during the initial operation period to ensure that the key indicators meet the initial operation standards in the later stage of the trial operation.
After the completion of the three-month trial operation, Line 1 will usher in the initial pre-operation safety assessment, and after the assessment is passed, the initial operation can be opened.
It is reported that the southern section of Line 1 is about 38 kilometers long, with 26 stations, from Wangjiagang Station to Qingdao North Railway Station to connect with the northern section of Line 1, which has been opened for initial operation, forming a 60-kilometer-long urban trunk line that runs through the five urban districts of Qingdao City and crosses the sea to connect the east and west banks. After the full opening of Line 1, the number of stations operating on the six lines of Qingdao Metro will reach 132, with a total operating mileage of 284 kilometers.
