Great Cold Festival, Appreciate Mengjiao's "Bitter Cold Yin"

Appreciation

This is a big cold festival poem by Mengjiao. Great cold means that the weather is extremely cold. Folk proverb cloud: "Small cold, big cold, no wind to cool." ”

The great cold is followed by lichun. But the coldest and hardest weather is the cold. How did the poet Meng Jiao spend his days in the cold? Mengjiao's life was difficult, and under the cold, it added a bitter cold to the poet.

The first link, the sky is cold and green, and the north wind is called dry mulberry. That is to say, the weather is harsh and cold, and the sky is dark blue; the cold north wind is calling among the dead old mulberry trees.

This link is about the weather conditions of the great cold season. The first sentence writes about the color of the sky through vision, and the second sentence writes about the condition of the north wind through hearing. The cold weather and cold wind are the background of the great cold festival.

Jaw joint, thick ice without cracks, short days with cold light. That is to say, there is a thick layer of ice on the surface of the river, and there is not a single crack in sight; the winter days are short and the nights are long, and there is only cold daylight.

The first link writes cold, and the jaw joint writes frozen. "Thick ice" and "cold light" are all manifestations of ground freeze. "No cracks" means that the thickness of the ice cubes is formed into a whole large piece, and there is not even a gap. "Short day" is a natural phenomenon that refers to the short days and long nights of the Great Cold Festival. Neck joint, knocking stones must not be fire, strong yin is seizing the sun. That is to say, if you want to knock a stone for fire, you will not succeed; the yin qi is in full swing, competing with the yang qi that is gradually rising.

When the weather was cold, I began to write people. The poet's way of warming up is to knock on the stone and make a fire. However, perhaps because of the freezing of his hands, he could not catch fire several times. Looking up at the sky, the yin qi is in full swing, and he still refuses to surrender his weapons, so he has to make a final fight with the rising yang qi. After the great cold, Li Chun came to the front.

Tail link, tune bitterness and what to say, frozen into this chapter. That is to say, the tone of life is too bitter, what else can be said? This poem can only be sung in cold weather. The cold and fireless dilemma is like the poet's daily dilemma.

MengJiao usually writes poetry, pursuing a thin and strange style, but this bitter cold poem is written freely and easy to understand, and it has no roots. This "Bitter Cold Chant" is not a vivid portrayal of the poet's life of sadness and poverty.

May our great cold day have a warm stove and the company of warm people, and never be cold and lonely again.
