"Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Science and Technology Award" was established in 2011, named after Mr. Wu Wenjun, People's Scientist, Artificial Intelligence Pioneer and Former Honorary Chairman of the Chinese Engineering Intelligence Society, approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the National Science and Technology Awards Office, and sponsored by the Chinese Engineering Intelligence Society, aiming to commend the people and organizations who have made major technological breakthroughs and made outstanding contributions in the field of intelligent science and technology.
The award selection adopts the nomination system, follows the principle of fairness, impartiality and openness to accept the supervision of the whole industry and the whole society, has the authoritative position and symbolic significance of "China's Highest Award for Intelligent Science and Technology", and the winning projects have the qualifications recommended by the Chinese Engineering Intelligence Society to participate in the National Science and Technology Award.
