But the strongest host of New China is not them, but the person who presided over the founding ceremony of New China with high moral respect, he is -- Lin Boqu.
In the history of China, there were five people, five old men to be precise, who were honored as the "Five Elders of Yan'an" because of their high seniority and high moral standing, and they included Dong Biwu, Xu Teli, Xie Jueya, Wu Yuzhang, and Lin Boqu.
Born in 1886 in Linli County, Hunan Province, Lin Boqu studied at the Hongwen School in Tokyo, Japan in his early years, and participated in the Chinese League association in Japan.
At the age of 20, after returning to China, he actively ran for the revolution in addition to teaching, after Yuan Shikai assassinated Song Jiaoren, Lin Boqu resolutely participated in the second revolution in Hunan, the revolution failed and fled to Japan again, deeply appreciated by Sun Yat-sen, after returning to China, he continued the revolution and served as a senator in the office of Grand Marshal Sun Yat-sen and participated in the reorganization of the Kuomintang.
How senior is Lin Boqu? In January 1921, he was introduced by Chen Duxiu, Li Dazhao and others to join the Shanghai Party Group of the Communist Party of China, and was one of the founders of the Communist Party. In 1926, Lin Boqu was re-elected as the Executive Committee of the Kuomintang Central Committee, and the chairman of the Financial Review Committee and minister of peasants, and during his tenure, he hired Mao Zedong as the director of the Guangzhou Peasant Movement Training Institute.
After the Zhongshan incident, Lin Boqu actively wanted to arrest Chiang Kai-shek with Cheng Qian, but he did not succeed, and in desperation, he went to Moscow sun yat-sen university for further study for five years. After returning to China, he went to the Soviet union, where he served as minister of the National Economy of the Chinese Soviet Republic and minister of the People's Commissar of Finance, and participated in the Long March.

At 3 p.m. on October 1, 1949, Lin Boqu presided over the founding ceremony of the People's Republic of China on the upper floor of Tiananmen Square in his important capacity as secretary general of the Central People's Government Committee. He announced the beginning of the ceremony in a rustic Hunan Linli dialect, sonorous and powerful, and his voice echoed 70 years later.
In 1954, at the age of 68, he was elected vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, a rare but energetic man. In the next three years, he traveled all over the motherland, going deep into the fields, doing investigations, talking with grass-roots cadres, and learning a lot of materials for national construction.
His later years were too busy, too busy to know he was sick. In May 1960, Lin Boqu was diagnosed with a severe myocardial infarction, but he was still immersed in work. After repeated persuasion by the staff, he was admitted to the hospital.
Before being admitted to the hospital, he also instructed his secretary to ask the Central General Office for leave on his behalf, saying: "I will go to the hospital for three or four days, and I will come back in no more than a week at most." "Unfortunately this went and never came back.
On May 29, 1960, his condition deteriorated, and Lin Boqu died in Beijing at the age of 74.

On April 2, 2013, with the approval of the central government, the ashes of Comrade Lin Boqu, one of the "Five Elders" of the Chinese Revolution, were moved from Babaoshan to his hometown of Changde Linxiumei Town, and now Lin Lao is quietly buried in the Linboqu Bronze Statue Square in his hometown, accompanied by the spring wind and falling leaves.
