Broomaceae, an annual herbaceous, semi-parasitic that absorbs nutrients from the roots of other plants.
Inflorescences are dense spikes of flowers. Each flower has a beak-like yellow upper lip and a wider lower lip, divided into three bags. The flowers at the bottom are pink, and I suspect it may be like Mexican canopy, which is white when it first blooms, and then turns pink.
