Following Honduras, another country that has "severed diplomatic relations" with Taiwan has emerged.

In fact, since participating in the presidential campaign, Allegre has repeatedly expressed in public that he hopes to establish diplomatic relations with Chinese mainland and "break off diplomatic relations" with Taiwan. In addition to Allegre, another Paraguayan presidential candidate, Kubas, made the same promise.
At present, two of the three most competitive candidates for the presidency of Paraguay have already made such statements. Now the two Paraguayan presidential candidates have made statements one after another, which also proves that Taiwan has less and less space for survival in the international community. Paraguay is currently Taiwan's largest "diplomatic country", and once diplomatic relations are severed, Taiwan's "diplomatic relations" will only be small countries such as Haiti.
