On the evening of December 3, singer Cheng Zhi said with great affection on the stage of the Jiuyimen Theater in Beijing. This is the memorial meeting of singer and educator Cen Bing, and there are also singers such as Zhu Mingying, Cheng Fangyuan, Chen Junhua, Zhao Li and other singers sitting on the stage, who have taken the stage and dedicated their songs to their teachers.
Students share the stage with their teachers and mothers
On November 23, singer and educator Cen Bing died in Beijing at the age of 95. As a singer, his "Ode to the Yellow River", "Ode to the Motherland" and "I Love the Blue Sky of the Motherland" are widely circulated, and as a vocal educator, his student Tao Li Fenfang. Cheng Zhi, Ouyang Jinsong, Liu Xufeng, Wei Song, Mou Xianfu and other bel canto singers, Chen Junhua, Lü Wei and other national singers, Zhu Mingying, Wei Wei, Cheng Fangyuan, Zhu Zheqin and other pop singers, and even rock singer Gao Qi are all from his disciples. He teaches students across different fields according to his snobbery and talents, and Cen Bing is also known as the "magician of sound shaping".
After Cen Bing's death, his students originally planned to hold a memorial service, but they thought that the teacher as a singer was the best way to remember him with his singing, so Chen Junhua, Xie Lin, Cinnabar, Zhao Jing and several other disciples formed a planning team, and students from all over the country responded and held this activity.
Cheng Zhi
Cheng Zhi was the oldest of Cen Bing's disciples, and at the concert, he recalled the scene of meeting his mentor. "It was 1966, I was just a 19-year-old creep, drawn from the company, and I didn't know what vocal music was, and at that time I was a vocal instructor in the General Political Song and Dance Troupe." Cheng Zhi said that Cen Bing was his vocal enlightenment teacher, and it was the teacher who trained him. Cheng Zhi used a song "Love of the Republic" to dedicate to Cen Bing, who has loved and sung for the motherland all his life.
Singer Chen Junhua was his first student in the field of ethnic vocal music. In 1987, Chen Junhua met Cen Bing and his wife, and since then he has studied with Cen Bing like a daughter. Under the guidance of his teacher, in 1988, Chen Junhua won the second prize in the Third National Young Singers Television Grand Prix.
Zhu Mingying
Zhu Mingying, who is famous for singing pop songs and Asian, African and Latin American songs, met Cen Bing in the Oriental Song and Dance Troupe. Zhu Mingying was originally a dancer, and he was 30 years old when he learned to sing with Cen Bing, Sir is a real educator, he has no distractions in his head, he treats every student equally, as long as you work hard, he will work you. Zhu Mingying said that Cen Bing told her not to think about the vocal method and sound position when she got to the stage, how to understand this work, how to sing beautifully, how to sing. She recalled that when she first learned "Back to Her Mother's House", the high pitch was always unable to go up, and after Cen Bing's guidance, it was easy to solve, so at the concert, she specially chose this song to commemorate the teacher.
At the concert, the students recalled their time with Cen Bing and thought he was a funny and happy person. "I haven't studied with Mr. Shum for a long time, but I see a spirit in him." Singer Cheng Fangyuan recalled, "When I met my husband, he was already a white-haired old man, but he kept singing all his life. From him, I saw that music can accompany us throughout our lives and illuminate our lives. ”

With the singing of "Teacher, I Always Think of You", Cen Bing's students walked onto the stage with candles in their hands to express their affection to the teacher.
