Dongguan Yulan Grand Theater Poly Youth Wind Orchestra recently held its first opening ceremony. Previously, after a rigorous interview and screening process, 74 students who were selected and admitted formed the Poly Youth Wind Orchestra of Dongguan Yulan Grand Theatre. The opening ceremony marks that the Poly Youth Wind Orchestra of Dongguan Yulan Grand Theater is about to start their "musical journey".
According to reports, the orchestra is headed by Mr. Bian Zushan, chairman of the China Symphony Orchestra Alliance and a national first-class conductor who enjoys subsidies from the State Council, as artistic advisers, Yan Qi, secretary of the Party General Branch of the Orchestra Department of xinghai conservatory of music, as the orchestra's music director, Mr. Zhu Di, conductor of the Guangdong Symphony Orchestra, as the orchestra conductor, and experts such as Yao Zhongda, associate professor of the trombone of the Xinghai Conservatory of Music, serve as the orchestra's expert advisers. According to reports, the Poly Youth Wind Orchestra of Dongguan Yulan Grand Theater will continue the mature orchestra organization training mode of Dongguan Art Education Center, conduct systematic and professional training for the members of the group, and comprehensively carry out comprehensive work from the aspects of work understanding, music and artistic accomplishment, voice part coordination, performance observation, master classes, etc., to better improve the comprehensive level of the members, accumulate ensemble experience, and ensure the professional level of the orchestra. The orchestra also invited Teacher Bian Zushan to dongguan Yulan Grand Theatre on July 17 to give professional guidance master classes and public lectures for the members.
