"Drama like Life" tells the story of an urban female white-collar worker whose appearance is deeply anxious about appearance. This female-themed film confronts the current situation of urban women's social survival, and uses comedic techniques to outline a ridiculous and lamentable appearance of sentient beings.

In the film, Wang Zhi will play the heroine Wu Liang, who looks ordinary and has not been valued since childhood, and coincidentally put on the "mask" of becoming beautiful, and experiences another life. At the scene, Wang Zhi chose the term "face value anxiety" as the keyword of the film's first impression and shared her views on this social phenomenon. When she talked about the fact that her friends around her had also been treated unfairly because of their appearance, she said that she wanted to live out herself and find her true self.
