Don't watch: The 10 worst movies of 2022 selected by foreign countries
1 / The Blonde, Marilyn Monroe with Ana de Armas, biopic is one of the most anticipated releases of 2022. However, in the end, the audience saw a rather strange movie. With a score of 5.5 on IMDB, 6.2 on Kinopoisk and 100% out of 32 on Rotten Tomatoes, Variety was the worst movie of the year.
2/ The Bubble Jud Apatow's comedy about a group of filmmakers forced to make films during the pandemic promises a lively and entertaining reflection on the events of recent years. In the end, however, the parody of Jurassic World proved to be as uninteresting as possible. IMDB 4.7, Kinopoisk 5.4, Rotten Tomatoes 30%
3/ "The Mermaid and the King's Daughter". This adventure film by Pierce Brosnan is not so explicit. The fantasy story of the king's imprisonment of mermaids caused a wave of extremely negative reviews from critics. In Rotten Tomatoes, for example, only 20% of professionals approve of the film. But audiences weren't so critical of the film — 5.1 on IMDB and 6.8 on Kinopoisk.
4/ Code 355. This spy thriller promises a lot because it stars four stars at once – Jessica Chastain, Diane Krueger, Penelope Cruz and Lupita Niyongo. However, the story of super agents uniting on a dangerous mission and saving the world is disappointing. IMDB is 5.5, Kinopoisk is 5.7, and Rotten Tomatoes critics are 24%.
5/ "Mobius". Another high-profile release, considered one of the most promising in 2022. Jared Leto, who tells the story of a man turned into a monster in a Marvel superhero movie, has received devastating reviews from critics and audiences alike. IMDB is 5.2, Kenopoesk is 5.5, and the total number of Rotten Tomatoes critics is 16%.
6/ "Flammable to the Naked Eye" is a new film based on Stephen King's book of the same name. Unlike the successful 1984 film, this film about a girl with supernatural abilities turned out to be a fake that was as cheap and stupid as possible. IMDB is 4.6, Kinopoisk is 5.0, and Rotten Tomatoes critics are 10%.
7/ Spider head. As well as "Blonde" - a high-profile project of Natflix with a star cast. Chris Hemsworth and Miles Teller couldn't breathe life into a silly story about the future, in which psychological experiments were conducted on prisoners. IMDB is 5.4, Kinopoisk is 5.5, critics are 39%, and Rotten Tomatoes viewers are only 29%.
8/- Jurassic World: Domination. The sixth installment of the franchise, Jurassic Park, generated more than $100 million for its creators, but in return for those amounts, viewers were unable to enjoy watching. The videotape seemed too meaningless and unnecessary to the viewer. IMDB is 5.6, Kenopoys is 5.7, and Rotten Tomatoes critics are 29%.
9/ Last flight. The thriller starring Juliette Binoche and Morgan Freeman is also unforgivably bad. A truck driver secretly came here to save her brother, and the FBI was hanging on her tail... IMDB is 5.5, Kenopoys is 5.6, and Rotten Tomatoes critics are 18%.
10/10 - Pinocchio. Of course, one of the main disappointments of 2022 was Disney's re-release of Pinocchio, with Tom Hanks as the protagonist. A film that is made cheaply and without a soul that does not interest the audience. IMDB is 5.1, Kinopoisk is 5.4, critics are 28%, and Rotten Tomatoes is viewers 29%.
