Pierce Brosnan
When you have James Bond's name on your resume, everyone thinks you must have some cool cars as glamorous as 007. Well, in the case of Pierce Brosnan, there is some truth to this theory.
At a time when the most charismatic 007 (sorry, Roger) is celebrating 68 years old, we thought we should take an admiring look at his car collection, from his first car to his most recent one.
Ford Anglia (1965)
Ford will Anglia
When it was introduced in 1959, Ford described Anglia as "the most exciting light car in the world." At the same time, more than that, another ad promises: "This is a dream car that will give you pure pleasure".
Although it sounds ridiculous now, car buyers at the time believed it. By 1968, more than a million units had been sold. Then again, its Detroit-style rear wing, electric windshield wipers (as standard) and a perfunctory four-speed gearbox may not come as a surprise.

It has also appeared on a number of TV shows (including Z-Cars, Heartbeat, and is Roland Rat's everyday car in Rat On The Road) and in movies involving teenage wizards.
"The cab door was broken," Brosnan recalled of his first car, which he bought from his stepfather in 1971 for £50 (407 yuan). "You have to hold it to get in. This is also the car that Harry Potter drove to the sky. "Flying cars... What will they come up with next?
Aston Martin V12 Vanquish (2002)
Aston Martin Vanquish
During his four appearances in 007, Brosnan drove an Aston Martin DB5 and several BMWs. Then, in his last film, Bond gets an Aston Martin Vanquish, which Pearce falls in love with.
As Vantage's successor, Aston launched the Aston Martin Vanquish in 2001. Designed by Ian Callum and based on the DB4 Zagato from the early 1960s, it is considered the first iconic GT of the 21st century. Of course, the outgoing 007 must also have one.
Aston Martin Vanquish central control
Three months after Brosnan finished filming Tomorrow and finally put away his Walter-PPK pistol, Aston delivered his custom silver Vanquish. Brosnan recalls: "There were no other cars on the road at the time," Brosnan said with great ambition. "Unfortunately, it burned down in a house fire [in 2015].
I looked at the garage and the car hood was engulfed in flames. In that moment, you think, 'Am I going to try to save it?' But it's just a car. You have to take the blow and then move on, thankful that you are still alive. Now only two signs remain, which read: "Handmade in England for Pierce Brosnan".
BMW H7 Hydrogen (2007)
BMW H7
Brosnan and his second wife, Kili Cheyen-Smith, are both passionate about the environment and were early adopters of the BMW H7. Only 100 units were produced, and the modified 6-litre V12 engine ran on conventional gasoline and liquid hydrogen.
When introduced in 2006, it was capable of reaching 0-60 mph (about 96 km/h) in 9.5 seconds, with a top speed of 145 mph (about 233 km/h) and a combined range of 435 mph (about 700 km). However, the car was never sold; Instead, they are lent to "celebrities" who can spread the word about environmental protection.

"I like to be environmentally friendly — it's good for us," Brosnan said of the H7 in an interview. "Climate change is hitting us. Hydrogen cars are quite amazing. But this fuel is still in its infancy; They haven't perfected it yet.
But I think if you're an actor, if you have a voice, you have some passion and want to do good, then you should speak up. BMW stopped producing the H7 a few years later, so they have special value. In other words: be sure to use it carefully, 007...
Range Rover Vogue HSE (2014)
Range Rover
Jeremy Clarkson said at the launch of the new Range Rover in 2013: "This is the best car in the world. "
When Gerry McGovern designed the flagship model of the Land Rover range, he not only built a stunning four-wheel drive vehicle, but also created the luxury SUV market.
Range Rover Central Control
Where Bentley Bentayga, Rolls-Royce Cullinan and Porsche Cayenne subsequently appeared, the Range Rover Vogue has already arrived there and built it.
Why does Brosnan have one? Because while it's not enough for the luxury SUV market, it might not be bad to have the best cars in the world.
BMW i8 (2014)
BMW i8
To keep his environmental credentials, Brosnan swapped his BMW hydrogen for the more efficient, practical and sexy plug-in hybrid i8. This game-changing, futuristic sports car was one of the first to make people yearn for the possibility of being powered by pure electricity.
Well, it's not a pure electric car. But back five years, you tried to find an outlet that could charge quickly. Even now, it's still difficult.

So it makes sense for Pierce to have a petrol engine next to the electric powertrain, and it definitely looks that way, especially at his home in Malibu.
He hasn't really talked about the i8 yet, but then again, we didn't expect him to open his mouth. Just, Mr. Brosnan, we want you to drive...
Ford F-150 (2017)
Ford F150
Practical, powerful, and doesn't mind getting your hands dirty – that may be a description of James Bond, but it also applies to Ford's legendary F-150 pickup.
The lineage of the F-150 dates back to the 1948 Ford release of the F1, and the F-150 name has been in use since 1975, and it is now in its 13th generation.

Not only has it been the best-selling pickup truck in the United States since 1977, but it has been the best-selling car in the United States for more than 40 years. Brosnan used his F-150 to drive his surfboard to the beach to enjoy surfing.
As you would expect, he is quite an accomplished surfer, so what's his secret? Well, as he once said, "I already know how to keep my balance."
BMW 750i (2018 model)
BMW 750i
While forever associated with Aston Martin in the film (Bentley in Ian Fleming's original novel), in a very brief moment in the 90s of the 20th century – particularly in Brosnan's watch – Bond adopted BMW entirely.
In GoldenEye 007, he drives a Z3 ("Ah, Mr. Bond... We've been waiting for you to see 27 Blofeld Gardens"), driving a Z8 in Doomsday Crisis 007, and most notably the 750iL (and a BMW R1200 motorcycle) in Empire of Tomorrow in 007.
BMW 750i side
The 750iL is one of the least likely Bond cars (unless 007 swaps spy games for driver business), but the ingenious thing is that it can be driven remotely and the car chase battles that follow in Germany's multi-storey car parks are also interesting.
A few years later, Brosnan found himself behind the wheel of an updated 750i, but this time in the front seat, and he drove wiser. When it comes to luxury cars, there's no one more suitable.
